I want a pound of rugelach and a box of cookies for work how do I order?

Please go to our custom orders form and fill out an inquiry form. We will get back to you with in 48 hours.

I emailed you on Sunday afternoon and have not heard back?

We are closed on Monday and Tuesday. We will respond to you first thing Wednesday morning. If you need to hear from us before Wednesday morning please contact us at the latest Sunday 10am.

If i miss my order pick up time what do I do?

If you are going to be a little late (15-30 minutes) just come on in. If you are going to be very late (1hour-longer) or are not able to come in same day please call the shop at 804.447.6167.

Should I refrigerate my cake?

No, please serve your cake at room temperature.

I want a specific flavor Danish?

Please fill out a custom order form. Our flavors change daily so we cannot guarantee any flavors. If you want a specific flavor, please put in an order and we can get that done for you.

I want a specific item that you have sometimes?

We are a New York style bakery with rotating items. While we carry most items everyday we do not guarantee each item everyday. If you want a specific item please fill out a custom order form and we can have it all boxed up and ready for you when you come in .

How should I serve my cake?

Please serve the cake at room temperature the day of purchase.

I want whipped topping on my cake?

We do not use whipped topping at our bakery. We do not use preservatives or stabilizers therefore we cannot offer whipped topping.

What icing do you use?

We use a Swiss meringue buttercream that is silky smooth and light. It is important to serve your cake at room temperature so that the buttercream is not hard. We offer a variety of different flavors of Swiss meringue buttercream. If you do not see a flavor you want, just put it on the custom cake form and we will let you know if we can make it. We also offer cream cheese icing.

I want a specific color cake?

If you want a specific color we ask that you go get a paint chip in that color so we can color match. Everyone has different opinions on what shades they want and this clarifies any issues that could arise.

I came in at 2:50pm and you did not have what I want?

Our bakery is a first come first serve model and we tend to sell out of some of our items later in the day. If you know you want to swing by after work to get something just fill out our custom order form and we can have that boxed up and ready for you to pick up.
